If you want to do something once, do it right.
Philosophers are having this dispute; is the human good in
nature or bad in nature? If they cannot have a conclusive answer, then can I?
The closest thing to human nature are the little children
who did not get their nature spoiled by the order the grownups chose for
themselves. You can see them act naturally while we allow ourselves to judge
their characters and develop a type, print it on a tag and hang it around their
nicks for the rest of their lives.
You can notice the very same child is being selfish trying
to protect her/his own possessions, and being generous sharing her/his possessions
with other children or adults.
Children can love you or hate you unconditionally! And they
can change their minds in this regard unconditionally as well.
What happened then? All those people in this world who are
judged and have their nature questioned, what happened to them, and what
happened to those who are trying to judge them?
The collective human experience that led us to the world
that is ruled by fear, or at least by "the carrot and the stick" is a
huge diversion from the natural nature of humans. We are living on the heritage
of our ancestors and we are putting ourselves in their shoes.
But we are not our ancestors! That's why we commit
revolutions.
Crowds are the muscles of revolutions, while philosophers
are the brains of them. And since we were counting on the muscles only; our
revolutions will develop immaturely and end up retarded.
If you want to do anything, do it once and do it right. Because
you don't have the luxury of "trial and error" nor the bless of
second chances.
